At first glance, cutting BRIGi Foam might appear straightforward. In practice, developing a reliable cutting process required months of research, testing and refinement.
Achieving a consistently clean and accurate cut meant carefully controlling the power requirements, blade speed and, importantly, developing a specific blade profile for the material. During development, we encountered many of the problems that can occur when cutting structural insulation materials, including rough edges, localised burning and melting.
After extensive testing, we established a process that allows us to produce clean, accurate and repeatable cuts to customers’ required dimensions.
Our BRIGi Foam cutting capabilities
Our floating moving bed allows the material to travel smoothly through the cutting process, while adjustable guides enable BRIGi Foam to be converted to specific customer width requirements.
We hold extensive stock in thicknesses from 20mm to 100mm in 10mm increments, allowing us to offer a wide range of finished dimensions with short production lead times.

Seeing material converted to the required dimensions provides an opportunity to understand the process, discuss individual application requirements and see the quality and consistency of the finished product first-hand.
