Our Re-Wind Machine (or Logger) is used for several purposes.

Primarily, we take large rolls of material and wind them down into specific lengths for finished rolls. We also use this machine to put material onto specific cores for finished rolls (we may change material from a cardboard core and put it onto a plastic core or onto a core with a printed middle). Sometimes, we will use this machine to change a core size (particularly for retail applications we will take material off a 3” cardboard core and put it onto a 1” plastic core).

Typical examples of product made on our Re-Wind Machine are: -

• 800M Rolls of Double Sided Tissue Tape are re-wound down into 50M Rolls. We then put the logs through our roll slitting machines to supply finished rolls of 12mm wide x 50M Double Sided Tape.
• 300M Rolls of Double Sided Foam Tape are re-wound into 100M Rolls. These logs are then slit and fed through our Rotary Die Cutting Machines to produce Double Sided Foam Pads on Rolls or Double Sided Foam Pads on Sheets.
• 250M Rolls of Very Clear Double Sided Tape with a Red Filmic Liner are re-wound into 5M, 10M, 15M and 25M Rolls on plastic cores. We then put this material through our roll slitting machines and end up with finished rolls of Double Sided Tape at 3.5mm x 5M or 6mm x 10M or 12mm x 15M or 25mm x 25M. Visually these products are very striking and are popular in the retail industry.
• 46M Rolls of Double Sided Foam Tape are re-wound into 23M Rolls. We then supply slit rolls of Double Sided Foam Tape 18mm x 1.6mm x 23M because this fits perfectly into our Customer’s Dispenser boxes.

Lynvale will re-wind Customer owned Free Issue Material as well as re-winding the various materials we supply. Typical materials that we re-wind and supply include: -

Double-Sided Foam Tape, Single Sided Foam Tape, Double Sided Tape, Single Sided Tape, Non Adhesive Tape, Plastic, Foams, Rubber, Gasket Material, Fabric, Non Woven Material, Paper, PVC, Filmic Products.

We also regularly re-wind material on this machine to then slit and feed through our Rotary Die Cutting Machines to produce Double Sided Foam Die Cut Pads, Single Sided Foam Die Cut Shapes, Double Sided Tape Gaskets and Single Sided Tape Discs.
